DEBATE: THE UNITED STATES SHOULD PULL OUT OF IRAQ AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
THE UNITED STATES SHOULD PULL OUT OF IRAQ AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
The US should count Iraq as a loss and pull out.
The insurgencies are a sign that it is time to move out of Iraq and count the current situation as a loss. While some good has been accomplished, Iraq now faces a civil war and the US is simply caught in the middle. A continued US military presence will only mean a further loss of civilian and military lives, and at this point very little good is seen for the future.
The US have succeeded in the mission to topple Saddam. Now that they have brought the country into such a state of affairs they should stay until peace and democracy is widespread.
THE UNITED STATES SHOULD PULL OUT OF IRAQ AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
The pople of Iraq say "life was better before…"
Despite the tyranny of Suddam Hussein’s rule, may Iraqis feel life was better when he was in power. They say that at least then they had stability and could walk the streets withouth fear. Today the number of refugees fleeing to neighboring countries is evidence that civilians feel insecure and do not believe a continued US presence will improve their chances of a better future.
THE UNITED STATES SHOULD PULL OUT OF IRAQ AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
The US must remain in Iraq despite the current costs.
The US committed to seeing tangible lasting change in Iraq. Despite the insurgencies, Iraq is unique because it is a change in war. Urban combat is not easy and high risks and side effects are involved. However, the US must remain to secure a better future for the Iraqi people, because they committed to the process, however long and painful, the day they committed to the invasion.
